Canon’s compact camera, the “PowerShot G7 X Mark II,” equipped with a 1-inch sensor, is no longer available at camera specialty stores. The G7 X Mark III is now Canon’s only premium compact camera.
A compact camera with an integrated lens was released in 2016. It uses a 1.0-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor and DIGIC 7, and is equipped with a bright F1.8-2.8 zoom lens, equivalent to a 24-100mm angle of view. The sensor and processor are older and inferior to the latest model, the G7.
